What Did We Learn From The Past Generations

Perhaps there are people who wonder why we should have our family as an inspiration for future success? The answer is that our family is the source and the beginning to everyone’s life, so we being close to them we get to learn from them—especially, family members of the previous generations. To know about them allows us to learn more of how we will become ourselves. And this also provides an access to better our future.

“I am absolutely convinced that no wealth in the world can help humanity forward, even in the hands of the most devoted worked in this cause. The example of great and pure personages is the only thing that can lead us to find ideas and noble deeds. Money only appeals to selfishness and always irresistibly tempts its owner to abuse it. Can anyone imagine Moses, Jesus or Gandhi with the moneybags of Carnegie?” – Albert Einstein

So we invite you to begin the speculation with our current topic:

I learnt from my grandmother how we can live from a spiritual centeredness in the midst of all that we still have to do and handle in life. I got to experience this first hand when I visited her in Sri Lanka at age of 11...she making fresh garlands herself from the flowers she picked from the garden, reciting mantras, visiting the temple, attending bhajans, doing seva, telling me stories from the puranas...and while also attending to the household needs, visiting friends and relatives and making sure I had fun...all this with equal attentiveness and alacrity!
